Microsoft Windows 8/8.1 users will receive free Windows 9 upgrade

Microsoft Indonesia has reportedly confirmed that the upcoming Microsoft Windows 9 operating system will be a free upgrade for current Windows 8 and 8.1 users. The company is expected to host an event on September 30 to detail Windows 9, where pricing and release information should be revealed.

Although Windows 8/8.1 provides significant security updates and a "modernized" interface, many users refused to upgrade to the touch-centric OS. Microsoft has accelerated its operating system road map to meet changing consumer and business user demands, and Windows 9 should help gauge where the company stands.

It's also worth noting that as users become familiar with major software updates, such as Apple iOS or OS X and Google Android, for example, the updates are available for free. This is a great opportunity for Microsoft to prove it has listened to users and is prepared to make changes for the future.

"To be honest, I really wanted to try it out. I want people to see the other side of me, hindi lang 'yung pagiging volleyball player ko," she was quoted in saying.

"I'm Is Willing To Be Shot By Duterte!" - Ramon Tulfo, Jr.

Davao City - Mayor Rodrigo Duterte said that he wants to shoot the one who is behind the campaign to make him run for President in the 2016 Presidential election.

Ramon Tulfo, Jr., a TV host, radio broadcaster and a columnist, wrote a letter addressed to Duterte entitled:

"I'm willing to be shot by Duterte!"
by Ramon Tulfo

"We need Duterte in MalacaƱang to save this country from further going to the dogs.

We need a leader who can discipline the entire Philippine National Police (PNP) just as he instilled discipline in the ranks of Davao City policemen.

We need a leader who would put fear in the hearts of criminals throughout the country just as he did in his city.

We need a leader who has transformed a once violent city into the most peaceful in the country.

We need a leader who has such charisma to convince his constituents in Davao City, reputedly the biggest city in the world in terms of land area, not to use firecrackers on New Year’s Eve.

We need a leader who is respected by both Moro and communist rebels because he’s in constant dialogue with them.

We need a leader who’s respected by both the masses and upper class because they know he doesn’t steal from them.

We need a leader who’s respected by the business community in his city because he never ever shakes them down.

Yes, this is an early campaign speech for Duterte.

Now shoot me, Rody!"

People now are eager to hear the reaction of Duterte to the letter message of Tulfo.

Ellen Adarna's Nude Photos From A Local Magazine Leaked

MANILA - A local magazine has condemned the leaked nude photos of sexy actress and model Ellen Adarna as a "blatant violation of her privacy" and has asked the public to refrain from spreading it online.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, Esquire Philippines said it "condemns the unauthorized distribution of Ellen Adarna originally taken from a shoot the magazine staged for its April 2014 edition."

"She had agreed to be featured in Esquire Philippines with the understanding that no nude photographs taken of her then would be published or disseminated. The recent circulation of such sensitive photos without her (or our) knowledge or consent is in blatant violation of her privacy, and her right to dignity. We share her outrage; we are deeply angry; we will not hesitate to take the appropriate legal action," the magazine said.

The rest of the statement is as follows: "The images in question, staged with photographer Jake Versoza, were never used in the magazine itself, and in most cases, were never even in the possession of the magazine. The images we did use from the shoot were treated to make sure any sensitive areas were artfully covered or obscured, as had been the agreement."

"It is apparent as well to Esquire magazine that its own rights, as well as that of photographer Jake Versoza, have been infringed. We will take the proper measured action to protect its rights. Most importantly, we urge all not to participate in the dissemination of sensitive images that were not intended for public by the one person whose rights and dignity above all else’s should be respected at this time," the magazine wrote.

Early Wednesday, the "unauthorized" photos of Adarna, which shows her completely naked, were published on a local gossip blog.

Coleen Garcia Sex Scandal With Ex-boyfriend, Reason Of Billy Crawford's Outrage?

MANILA – An alleged sex scandal of Coleen Garcia with her ex-boyfriend making rounds on the Internet is rumored to be the real reason of Billy Crawford’s mischievous behavior at Bonifacio Global City police station last September 7.

Actor Mark Gil Passes Away...Condition Was Kept Secret

MANILA - (3rd UPDATE) Veteran actor Mark Gil passed away at 8 a.m. on Monday due to liver cancer, his family confirmed in a statement. He was 52.

Born Raphael Joseph de Mesa Eigenmann, Gil was diagnosed with cancer in 2012 and found out in June this year that it was terminal.

Upon Gil's request, his family had decided to keep secret the condition and refuted reports that the actor was battling the illness.

"It was Ralph's request that this should not be revealed, and we did not question his decision," a statement read. "To those who have asked us about his condition, especially his colleagues, the press and fans, we apologize for not being forthright, but we also ask for understanding."

Gil was among the clan of Eigenmann celebrities in local showbiz. The second child of singer Eddie Mesa and actress Rosemarie Gil, he was a sibling to Michael de Mesa and Cherie Gil, both movie stars.

He is survived by his wife, Maricar, and their daughter Stephanie Cheri, and five other children from three previous relationships. Among his children are TV stars Sid Lucero and Andi Eigenmann.

According to the joint statement of his family, Gil died peacefully in the company of his family members and had been in high spirits during his last days.

Meantime, the Eigenmanns requested that they be given time to mourn Gil's passing privately. They announced that an event celebrating the life and work of Gil will be held on Wednesday, starting at 10 a.m., at the La Salle Greenhills chapel.

Gil rose to fame for his role in the movie “Batch '81.” His other movies include “Underage,” “Indio,” “Miss X” and “Palabra de Honor,” among others.

His TV shows, meanwhile, include “Guns and Roses,” “100 Days to Heaven,” “Walang Hanggan,” “Imortal,” and “Magkaribal.” Gil’s last project with the ABS-CBN was the primetime series “The Legal Wife.”
